Do you like to crochet? In this case, you most likely know how to create such a basic element as a “grandmother's” square. Finnish designer Mariana Sirra came up with an interesting model of dress from the usual patterns of needlewomen. The girl slightly modified the element for the back, connecting a pentagon instead of one of the squares, and then connecting the parts in a certain order. You can easily repeat this idea by getting your own design thing.

You will need:

  • sewing mannequin;
  • pins;
  • yarn, hook;
  • needle and thread

First of all, you need to connect the required number of squares. The photo on the dummy shows the approximate size of each item.

We collect two elements of the shelf, and then knit the pentagonal part for the back.

We collect the back by adding the required number of squares. After that, we spread the dress on a flat surface and sew all the elements.

This is how the dress will look like. You can hook up the squares if you want to achieve an openwork effect. For a denser web, use a needle with thread.

It remains to make a flower to fasten.

To knit settled, the dress is better to wash in warm water and dry, spreading it on a towel.

Designer thing is ready. It can be worn on its own, or worn as a sundress on a T-shirt or turtleneck.

Mariana completed her creation with a small knitted bag.
