Sometimes incredible insights come to people in the most unexpected moments. The author of this magnificent decor had a small problem: her pets loved to steal wooden clothespins imperceptibly. Knowing this feature of their favorites, she constantly updated stocks. At some point, the clothespins in her house became so numerous that the idea arose to decorate the Christmas tree with them.
To create the original decor you will need:
- Wooden clothespins (8 pieces per one star);
- glue gun;
- adhesive strong fixation;
- cord for hanging;
- masking tape
Remove metal parts from the clothes pegs. For decoration, and those that are broken during use.
Using a glue gun, fasten the two halves with the outer sides inside.
Connect the basic elements by making a smooth cross.
Add one more element diagonally.
Attach a cord or string to the assembled sprocket that will be used for hanging. To make the snowflake more secure, you can glue the cord directly during the creation of one of the elements.
That's how the asterisk will hang.
Before proceeding to the decoration, wind a thread or cord with a piece of masking tape.
It remains to apply a strong fixation glue on the surface of the sprocket and sprinkle it with glitter.
Wait until dry.
The original decoration is ready.
Use different sparkles to get more colors.
It is hard to believe that these are former clothespins!
