Meet the creations of Vaishali and Nayan (Vaishali, Nayan) - an Indian couple who makes tiny birds out of paper. As Vaishali says, with the help of these miniatures, they want to show the world how complex and unusual birds are. They use multi-layer paper to give the figures volume.

All the birds are handmade and also hand painted. In this case, the pair does not use a magnifying glass in the work. Each layer is cut and painted separately. Shades correspond to the plumage of birds in reality. An average of four to eight hours is spent on one thumbnail. The smallest specimens do not reach two centimeters in height.
